Dr. Daniel Croymans is a primary care physician who practices in Westwood. He provides personalized and comprehensive care to every patient, and ensures they receive high-quality care that aligns with their values and personal health goals. His clinical interests include adult primary care, behavioral health, and preventive medicine.
Dr. Croymans is a true Bruin with four degrees from UCLA. He received a dual degree in medicine and business at the David Geffen School of Medicine and the Anderson School of Management, specializing in healthcare management and entrepreneurship. He then completed his residency training in the UCLA Internal Medicine Primary Care program. During residency, he completed two years as both a Quality Improvement and Clinical Informatics Scholar.
Prior to this training, Dr. Croymans completed his undergraduate and master's degrees at UCLA in Physiological Science and Integrative Biology and Physiology, during which time he evaluated the effects of diet and exercise in the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity. His research has been presented at national conferences and published in leading academic journals including the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of Applied Physiology.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Croymans is the Medical Director of Quality for the Department of Medicine. His general interests include care delivery design, population health, digital health technologies, and the psychology of behavior and decision making.
When he's not working, Dr. Croymans' favorite pastimes include playing soccer, running, spending time with his fiancée, who is a UCLA Pediatric Hematology-Oncology fellow, and wrestling with Bentley, his English bulldog.
