Edward Nahabet, MD, is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Dr. Nahabet was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. He then pursued his medical education at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, serving as an elected member of the Student Committee on Medical Education and earning Alpha Omega Alpha honors for academic excellence.
After completing medical school Dr. Nahabet matched into UCLA's highly competitive Plastic Surgery Residency and was selected for an additional fellowship year specializing in Microsurgery. Throughout his training he presented and published numerous papers in leading peer-review journals and medical texts earning the division's Resident Research Award for his efforts. As a faculty member he is committed to educating and mentoring the next generation of physicians and plastic surgeons.
Dr. Nahabet specializes in a wide range of procedures. His reconstructive expertise covers areas such as breast, head and neck, lower extremity, and abdominal wall reconstruction. In addition to elective breast procedures like augmentation, lifts, and reductions, he is skilled in aesthetic surgeries of the face and body. He offers face and neck lifts, rhinoplasty, brow lifts, blepharoplasty, as well as abdominoplasty and body contouring, among others. He also administers non-surgical treatments including injectables like Botox and filler.
