About
Jeremy Flores, MD is a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor in the Addiction Division of the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is the director of the UCLA Addiction Psychiatry Clinic and is also Associate Program Director for the UCLA Public and Community Psychiatry Fellowship and the UCLA-VA Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship. He joined UCLA in 2024 and served as Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Services Lead for the UCLA Homeless Healthcare Collaborative (HHC) (uclahealth.org/hhc), where he developed a street-based psychiatry program that expanded access to mental health and addiction care for people experiencing homelessness across Los Angeles County. A Geffen Scholar, Dr. Flores completed medical school and his psychiatry residency at UCLA, where he served as Program Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry through the UCLA–VA Greater Los Angeles program. His interests include addiction psychiatry, public and community psychiatry, social justice, LGBTQIA+ mental health, and medical education, with a focus on advancing equitable, community-based models of behavioral health care.
