Dr. Kristen Mondino is a board-certified family medicine physician practicing at UCLA Health in Encino. She enjoys providing comprehensive care for all ages. Her clinical interests include preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and women’s health (gynecological examinations, IUD/Nexplanon management, contraceptive counseling).
Dr. Mondino was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She completed her undergraduate education at UCLA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychobiology. She received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. She returned to California to complete her residency at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage. She then practiced full scope family medicine for four years at Eisenhower Health in Palm Springs, CA, prior to joining UCLA Health.
Dr. Mondino feels her role as a primary care physician is to understand a patient’s lifestyle and limitations and work collaboratively with the patient to set up a plan for success. She is excited to return to the San Fernando Valley and to UCLA!
When she is not working, Dr. Mondino loves to spend time with her dog, Kyla, and travel.
