Leila Sheikholeslam, DO, MS

Dr. Leila Sheikholeslam (Sheikh) is a primary care physician who practices at the Ocean Park Family Medicine clinic in Santa Monica. She is board certified in Family Medicine and sees patients of all ages. She enjoys building long term relationships with patients while promoting a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention. She believes high-quality, compassionate patient care is best achieved through shared decision-making and open communication. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, women’s health, weight management, diabetes, pediatrics and musculoskeletal medicine.

Dr. Sheikh received her medical degree from Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona. She then completed her residency in family medicine at MacNeal-Loyola Medicine in Berwyn, Illinois.

Dr. Sheikh was born and raised in Los Angeles. After training in Chicago, she is happy to be back in her home city, near her friends and family. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, Pilates, tennis, cooking and watching movies.
