Dr. Lisa Zhu is a board-certified general rheumatologist who practices in Encino. She enjoys treating the full spectrum of rheumatologic diseases, including Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sjogren's Syndrome, Spondyloarthritis, Vasculitis, Myositis, Scleroderma, Gout, Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, and Fibromyalgia. She is dedicated to providing personalized and compassionate care to all of her patients. 

Born and raised in San Diego, Dr. Zhu received her undergraduate degree from Harvard. She received her medical degree from UCLA, then completed her Internal Medicine residency at Stanford. She returned to UCLA to complete her Rheumatology fellowship. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, baking, and playing piano.

She is always caring and tries to help me with my issues. She offers me remedies such as physical therapy (or occupational therapy if hands) to relieve symptoms. She offers cortisone shots too, but I don't want them. She is definitely interested in trying to help me!

Today was my first visit I drove two hours to established as a new patient My doctor was very thorough I really appreciate it all her thoughts and comments to help me feel the best I can feel I’m looking forward to be working with her
