About

Dr. Lynn Stothers is a professor in residence of Urology who also holds a Master’s in Health Care and Epidemiology and a certificate in the Scholarship of Higher Education. She has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of lower urinary tract symptoms. 

During her career she has supervised masters, PhD, and post-doctoral students across disciplines and from around the world. Her lab research has led to numerous patents related to non and minimally invasive optical technology for the diagnosis of lower urinary tract symptoms which have supported strategies pertaining to global health and neurogenic bladder. 

Her clinical work and research endeavors have also included dietary strategies for the prevention of urinary tract infections and integrative medicine techniques. 

Dr. Stothers is a member of the AUA Board of Directors, Urology Care Foundation and keenly works in philanthropy to support public education and urology trainee education.
