Dr. Max Goldstein is a board-certified family physician. He was born and raised in Santa Monica, completed his medical degree at UCLA and completed his residency at UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Goldstein has lived and worked abroad in such places as Yemen, Venezuela, Spain, South Africa and France. His medical practice includes care of the whole family, from newborns to the elderly, and he specializes in preventive health, family planning, contraceptive management, LGBT health and sports medicine. Dr. Goldstein also has a deep sense of commitment to healthcare for all and continues to provide medical care to rural farming communities in California. Outside of medicine, he loves ocean swimming, bodysurfing, yoga and making art.

The minute I got into the office, the staff was incredibly friendly and made being in an office, totally enjoyable. Dr. Goldstein was kind considerate. He listened and never interrupted. He never ignored anything. I said he followed up during our visits about things that I had mentioned. The exam and, everything to go with it was extremely detailed, diligent, comprehensive, and pleasant. This was the best physician appointment I’ve ever had

This is a wonderful doctors office. Every part of the experience was positive, from the front desk to the nurses, the doctors and definitely the folks who answer the phones. I have been a patient at this office for 4+ years and I am always pleased by the consistently helpful and professional staff All the staff and doctors. Dr. Goldstein is one of the best doctors I have ever used. I appreciate his honesty and experience. He is empathetic and kind when it’s needed honest and straightforward and very knowledgeable . The nurses are personable, empathetic, and very professional.

He was a substitute doctor as mine was booked. This was an urgent situation and he did an appropriate examination, prescribed an antibiotic and suggested I get a chest x-ray at the UCLA Urgent Care near me in Marina del Rey if I wasn?t better in a few days. A professional and brief consultation.
