About
Dr. Melissa Chung is a board-certified internal medicine physician practicing at UCLA Health in Pasadena and Burbank. Her goal is to develop meaningful patient-physician relationships centered on guiding patients towards living a healthy and fulfilling life. Her areas of interest include obesity medicine. She works closely with patients to help achieve their weight loss goals through the UCLA Health medically-supervised weight loss program PRO (Program for Reducing Obesity). Note: PRO is by referral only.
Dr. Chung graduated from the University of California Berkeley, and earned her medical degree from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She subsequently completed her internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Chung is a Pasadena native. Her interests include live music, exploring the local food scene, and the great outdoors. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
