Dr. Nikita Jambulingam is a sleep medicine physician who practices in Torrance and Downtown LA. She specializes in treating sleep disorders including sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, hypersomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, restless legs syndrome, and sleep-related movement disorders.
Dr. J received her medical degree from the University of Michigan. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at UCLA-Olive View and a Sleep Medicine fellowship at UCLA, where she served as Chief Fellow. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology at Harvard University.
Dr. J’s interest in sleep developed during her clinical training where she witnessed the positive impact of improved sleep on the quality of life of her patients. She advocates for the needs of her patients to help them achieve the best health possible. She also teaches UCLA medical students, residents, and fellows at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. J grew up in Michigan and enjoys the cultural diversity of Los Angeles. When she is not in the office, you may find her hiking, traveling, or exploring the LA food scene.
