Peyman Nejatbakhsh Azadani, MD

Dr. Peyman Azadani is a faculty member of the David Geffen School of Medicine as Assistant Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at UCLA.

He works as a Cardiologist and has expertise in advanced cardiovascular imaging including coronary CT angiogram and cardiac MRI by doing his fellowship at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He received his medical degree from Shahid Beheshti Medical University in Iran. Then completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Penn State University along with his Cardiology fellowship at University of Utah. He also did a research fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Azadani is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He also has level III training in cardiac MRI, adult cardiac Echocardiography, and coronary CT Angiography.

Dr. Azadani has a wide clinical practice but has particular interests in prevention of cardiovascular disease, management of coronary artery disease, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation, and new modalities in the treatment and diagnosis of cardiovascular disease.
