Dr. Ramin Assadi graduated with honors from school of medicine at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. After completing his internal medicine residency and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Loma Linda University, he pursued additional advanced training in interventional cardiology for catheter based treatments of coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, and peripheral vascular disease at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center/UCLA program.
Dr. Assadi is committed to provide excellent individualized comprehensive cardiovascular care to his patients as if they are members of his family.
His clinical interests include coronary artery disease, chest pain/angina, complex angioplasty and coronary stenting, atherectomy, chronic total occlusions, heart valve disease including non-surgical heart valve repair/replacement (particularly diseases of the mitral valve and MitraClip valve repair), balloon valvuloplasties, cardiac imaging, preventive cardiology, resistant hypertension, and management of peripheral arterial and venous disease including non-surgical treatment of varicose veins.
Dr. Assadi speaks fluent Persian (Farsi).
During his free time, Dr. Assadi enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, skiing, and playing music.
