About
Dr. Sagir Bera is a primary care sports medicine physician who practices at UCLA Health MPTF Toluca Lake location in Burbank. He is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine, and is a certified athletic trainer and strength and conditioning specialist. He provides personalized care to his patients by focusing on evidence-based medicine and shared decision making.
Dr. Bera earned both his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) and Master of Public Health degrees from Nova Southeastern University College Of Osteopathic Medicine in Florida. He then completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Arizona Medical Center. He earned his bachelor’s degree from UCLA, and his master’s degree in kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton.
When he’s not working, Dr. Bera enjoys participating in sports, traveling, listening to music, watching plays and shows, trying different cuisines and spending time with his family.
