Sayana R. Shah, MD

Sayana Shah, MD is a board certified Radiation Oncologist and Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA. Dr. Shah graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison on the Dean's List, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. She went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha Honors distinction. She then completed specialty training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. She served as Chief Resident and received specialized training in all of the latest technologies.

Dr. Shah currently practices at St. Mary's Medical Center in Long Beach, where she serves as the Medical Director. Her areas of clinical expertise include IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT, in the treatment of breast, prostate, lung, central nervous system, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and head & neck cancers. Dr. Shah's research endeavors have focused on the treatment of central nervous system and lung tumors, including advanced brachytherapy techniques, IMRT using TomoTherapy, SBRT, and intensity modulated proton therapy. She has presented her research at many regional and national meetings.
