About

Dr. Shelley Schwartz is an internal medicine physician who practices at UCLA Health – Santa Monica Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and California Rehabilitation Institute. She is board certified in internal medicine and passionate about the therapeutic relationship between practitioner and patient. She focuses on evidence-based, integrative medicine, with an emphasis on the broader concepts of health promotion, early diagnosis, and prevention of complications. She is passionate about medical student teaching in clinical and problem-based pre-clinical settings.  She currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Schwartz received her medical degree from the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine in 2011.  She also earned her Master of Business Administration degree from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 2010.  She completed internship and residency in internal medicine at Harbor-UCLA medical Center. 

Dr. Schwartz is a member of the Society of Hospitalist Medicine, American College of Physicians, California Medical Association, Phi Beta Kappa, and Golden among other organizations. She is an student of yoga and meditation. Her interests include philosophy, ethics and mind-body medicine. She also loves spending time with family, art and music.
