
Tejas C. Manchandia, MD
About
Dr. Manchandia is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Breast Imaging Section in the Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Manchandia was born and raised in Southern California. He completed his undergraduate studies at Rice University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and a B.A. in Psychology. Dr. Manchandia went on to receive his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine, followed by an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington. He completed a year of residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Washington, after which he returned to Southern California to complete his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Women’s Imaging at USC.
Dr. Manchandia’s clinical interests include 2D and 3D mammography, breast ultrasound and breast MRI, as well as performing ultrasound, stereotactic, tomosynthesis and MRI-guided breast biopsies. He enjoys teaching medical students, residents, and fellows both in the reading room and at the bedside when performing interventional procedures. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife and their two boys.
