Dr. Travis Shiba is an Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon at UCLA who practices in Santa Clarita and Santa Monica and is a Supervising Consulting Surgeon Specialist in the Division of Head and Neck Surgery at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center. He is board certified in Otolaryngology.

Dr. Shiba received his Medical Degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He attended medical school on a Distinguished Alumni Scholarship and graduated at the top of his class with Alpha Omega Alpha distinction. He completed Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency training at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and continued at UCLA for fellowship training in laryngology, where he focused on voice, airway reconstruction and swallowing disorders. He also has a special interest in the treatment of the sinuses (including chronic sinusitis, loss of smell, and nasal polyps), nasal obstruction (disorders of the septum and turbinates), salivary glands (parotid, submandibular), thyroid tumors, and parathyroid glands. He received his undergraduate degree from UCLA, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Shiba is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is a member of the American Association of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, American Rhinologic Society, American Medical Association, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and Phi Beta Kappa.
