About
Dr. Ho received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she was awarded the Dean’s Recognition Award. She completed both her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. During fellowship training, she also earned a master’s of public health degree at the Harvard School of Public Health, where she did research in colorectal cancer. Dr. Ho joined the UCLA faculty in 2008 as a clinician educator, where she specializes in seeing gastroenterology patients.
Dr. Ho has a special interest in genetic colorectal cancer syndromes such as Lynch Syndrome and colorectal cancer screening. She is board certified in gastroenterology and also sees patients with esophageal disorders, gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, colorectal disorders, functional bowel disorders including irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis, and performs colonoscopy and upper endoscopy. Of note, Dr. Ho was awarded the distinction of Super Doctors Rising Star in 2015-2018; Super Doctors in 2020-2022; Los Angeles Magazine Top Doctors 2020-2022; Pasadena Magazine Top Doctors 2021-2022.
