About
Dr. William K. Winter is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician with the Department of Medicine. He primarily cares for patients hospitalized at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the Tufts University School of Medicine in 2017. He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at UC San Diego. He continued there and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at UC San Diego in 2020.
He serves as a member of the faculty of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and is actively involved with the clinical training of medical students, interns, and residents.
Within the Department of Medicine, he serves as a member of the UCLA Rapid Morbidity Review Committee and the UCLA Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee.
His major clinical interests include quality improvement, academic hospital medicine, and value-based care.
