Dr. Prasla is originally from Texas, where she completed medical school and Internal Medicine residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, and moved to Los Angeles to join the faculty at UCLA after completing her Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship training at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Prasla treats patients with various pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung diseases, including but not limited to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, autoimmune lung disease, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, and sarcoidosis, among other lung diseases. She is a member of the multi-disciplinary Interstitial Lung Disease team and sees patients in the weekly Interstitial Lung Disease clinic. She also cares for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.

Dr. Prasla currently sees patients at the UCLA Santa Monica and Westwood locations. When Dr. Prasla is not working, she spends her time traveling and exploring everything that living in southern California has to offer.
