Rotations in subspecialties such as pediatric neuroradiology are included in the curriculum.
Areas of practice include:
All of the above locations are inter-linked by PACS, allowing centralization of study interpretation in Westwood and Santa Monica campuses. Over 24,000 procedures are performed yearly, utilizing the above mentioned modalities, in addition to non-vascular pediatric interventional radiology. Pediatric Imaging fellows rotate between UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital and 200 Medical Plaza locations, and are required to read cases from all areas of practice listed above. Fellows participate daily in interdisciplinary conferences, are required to produce a clinical or basic science research project, and participate in teaching activities for medical students and diagnostic radiology residents.
