Lauren Geisler Fite

Lauren Geisler Fite, is a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) who works for Healthcare Partners Medical Group, a downtown Los Angeles multi-specialty outpatient medical practice. In 1975, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors at the University of California, Berkeley and was Administrative Assistant for Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland from 1976 to 1978. Ms. Fite also served as Director of Medical Practice for The American Society of Internal Medicine in Washington, D.C. from 1978 to 1980. In 1982, she was awarded her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, and Physician Associate Certificate at Duke University, and board certification from the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants in 1983. She has successfully completed recertification examinations over the years.
After serving as a PA in a North Carolina private practice, Ms. Fite joined Healthcare Partners Medical Group (then California Primary Physicians) in 1986. From 2002 to 2005, she was PA for Dr. John J. Regan at Cedars-Sinai Spine Center and for his private practice in Beverly Hills. Ms. Fite then returned to Healthcare Partners Medical Group, where she worked alongside supervising physicians who manage outpatient care in the field of Internal Medicine. Currently, she remains at Healthcare Partners part time, working along side Dr. Susan Stone in Outpatient and home based Palliative Care.
In addition, Ms. Fite, who was health advocate for her parents (now deceased) under the care of hospice, has been on the board of PS#1 Elementary School in Santa Monica as secretary and as chair of the Outreach Committee from 2007-2012. She is married to Dr. Austin Fite and the mother of Lexi (20) and Aidan (16) and stepmother of Anastasia (33).
