ABOUT THIS GROUP

Weekly, ongoing support group for individuals dealing with recurrent or metastatic cancer.

This group for patients with recurrent or metastatic cancer encourages the exploration and expression of emotions and thoughts, particularly those related to living with cancer. The group’s purpose is to facilitate mutual support, encourage active coping, and promote effective interactions with family members and social networks. Group members also provide each other with information and guidance about navigating medical care. The group aims to enhance quality of life in its members and reduce their difficulties with pain, anxiety, and distress.

Group members are asked to make a commitment to attend regularly.

This group is made possible, in part, by the Li Bailey Trust.
