Tara Vijayan, MD is an assistant professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases at the David Geffen School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include general infectious diseases, HIV medicine, global health, infectious diseases in underserved populations, medical education and antimicrobial stewardship. She is the director of antimicrobial stewardship and co-chairs the microbiology course for second year medical students.
