You may request a certificate of completion when you finish your volunteer work (at least 100 hours) and would serve as a record of your hours and certificate for service.
Letters of recommendation are at the discretion of your individual supervisor and may only be requested after completing 100 hours of service.
You will need to submit a request form in order to receive your certificate of completion or award. The request form can be found here or our forms page located under the Volunteer Resources section of our website. Once the request form is completed, you should e-mail it to Barbara Padlog at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bonus (merit) hours may not be included in actual “service” hours which will be used in awarding certificates/pins/letters. Certificates and awards are explicitly for general student volunteers.
Allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
