I loved the supportive culture of the anesthesiology department and collegiality between students, residents, and faculty. Additionally, the amazing location of the program added so much to the wellness of residents (so many great food spots, hikes, beaches and events in LA. The weather is obviously great year-round for all of these things). I truly sensed that the residents were happy and felt well cared for by the department here. All of these things were further confirmed now that I’m a resident here.
