Dr. Kleerup is the best doctor ever. I am happy for him for his retirement, but sad to lose him as our pulmonologist.

Dr Kleerup has been my doc for about 4 years. I have a fairly uncommon illness, and he has worked with me to monitor its progression. He has never pushed me to start treatment, as I have other health conditions that would make the treatment very difficult for me, and its not something that treatment would necessarily cure. He is curious, kind, laid back, and interested in what his patients have to say. Sadly, for all of us, he is retiring in a few weeks. He deserves to go off, and enjoy his life, but UCLA is losing a great pulmonologist!

Dr Kleerup has been my pulmonologist for more than 25 years. He has always provided excellent and comprehensive care. He is very empathetic and has a wonderful demeanor. This was my last visit with him before he retires. I will miss him a great deal.
