Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is December 2!
At UCLA Health, we continue to be inspired by our health care heroes who enhance the patient experience, advance groundbreaking medical research, train the next generation of doctors, and bring innovative services to our community. Your support helps make all of this possible.
Where will you make an impact this Giving Tuesday?
Patient Care and Innovation
Unrestricted funds help give UCLA Health the resources we need to spring into action and help our patient community when they need it most. In addition to medical care and social services, gifts to the President's Fund help underwrite housing and living expenses, including food and transportation vouchers, for vulnerable patients and their families during emergency situations and extended hospitalizations.
Research and Education
The medical field advances through discovery, and the David Geffen School of Medicine is the birthplace of big discoveries. Doctors and medical students work in collaboration with biologists, engineers and economists, enabling researchers to share knowledge and find solutions that work—all the way from lab bench to the bedside and into the community.
People-Animal Connection
Our 100% donor and volunteer-supported animal therapy program provides compassionate companionship and warmth to more than 1,000 patients each month.
3 Wishes
Your gift of any size will help us continue our efforts to dignify the dying process and celebrate the lives of UCLA Health patients in their final moments. Each patient’s final wish is granted at no cost to them or their family, and the average cost of a wish is just $30.
Homeless Healthcare Collaborative
Since the program was established in 2022, the Homeless Healthcare Collaborative has cared for thousands of unhoused people in our community. With your support, our mobile clinics can continue to provide vital medical care to our homeless neighbors – at no cost to the individuals in need.
Operation Mend
Help heal our nation's post-9/11 military, veterans, and their family members by providing innovative, comprehensive, world-class care for the physical and psychological wounds of war.
Sound Body Sound Mind
UCLA Health Sound Body Sound Mind (SBSM) has been a leading provider of youth health and wellness resources throughout Los Angeles for over 25 years. SBSM targets its efforts to provide equitable access to physical education and wellness programs at middle schools and high schools.
