Giving Tuesday

UCLA Health x Giving Tuesday 2023: Where Will You Make an Impact?

Giving Tuesday is November 28!

At UCLA Health, we continue to be inspired by our health care heroes who enhance the patient experience, advance groundbreaking medical research, train the next generation of doctors, and bring innovative services to our community. Your support helps make all of this possible.

Where will you make an impact this Giving Tuesday?

Patient Care and Innovation

UCLA Health Doctors and Nurses

Unrestricted funds help give UCLA Health the resources we need to spring into action and help our patient community when they need it most. In addition to medical care and social services, gifts to the President's Fund help underwrite housing and living expenses, including food and transportation vouchers, for vulnerable patients and their families during emergency situations and extended hospitalizations.

3 Wishes

3 Wishes Program Patient and Spouse

Your gift of any size will help us continue our efforts to dignify the dying process and celebrate the lives of UCLA Health patients in their final moments. Each patient’s final wish is granted at no cost to them or their family, and the average cost of a wish is just $30.

People-Animal Connection

Patient with UCLA PAC Dog

Our 100% donor and volunteer-supported animal therapy program provides compassionate companionship and warmth to more than 1,000 patients each month.

UCLA Health Nurse with Patient

UCLA Health not only meets the highest standards in nursing - we set them. A contribution of any size provides much-needed resources to our nurses as they dedicate themselves to provide the care that all patients deserve.

Precision Health Research

Precision Health Researcher

Your support will help our researchers bring the latest genetic discoveries to nearly every field of medicine. Our research into precision medicine, genetics research, and clinical genetics is making breakthroughs in cardiology, neurology, and genetic and infectious diseases possible — breakthroughs which help build healthier communities.

Homeless Healthcare Collaborative

HHC Patient and UCLA Health Nurse

Since the program was established in 2022, the Homeless Healthcare Collaborative has cared for thousands of unhoused people in our community. With your support, our mobile clinics can continue to provide vital medical care to our homeless neighbors – at no cost to the individuals in need.

Operation Mend

Doctor and Operation Mend Patient

Help heal our nation's post-9/11 military, veterans, and their family members by providing innovative, comprehensive, world-class care for the physical and psychological wounds of war.
