Dr. Joanna Yeh is a pediatric gastroenterologist who practices in both Westwood and Santa Monica. Her clinical interests include general gastroenterology, nutrition, fatty liver disease/non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and obesity. She is board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology and speaks limited Spanish and Mandarin.
Dr. Yeh is involved with the multidisciplinary enteral nutrition clinic (patients receive nutrition via GT, JT, GJ, NG tubes) and TPN clinic (total parental nutrition – patients receive nutrition intravenously). She is also involved in the care of IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) patients at UCLA and coordinates care both for home infusions and outpatient infusions for patients receiving biologic therapies for IBD. Dr. Yeh is part of the CF (cystic fibrosis) team at UCLA where comprehensive and multidisciplinary care is provided for patients with cystic fibrosis. In the general gastroenterology clinics, Dr. Yeh sees a variety of conditions including IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), constipation/encopresis, GERD (reflux), abdominal pain, and celiac disease.
Dr. Yeh received her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She then completed her pediatric residency training and fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital.
Prior to joining the UCLA Health Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition in June of 2016, Dr. Yeh practiced pediatric gastroenterology at the UCSF Children's Hospital Oakland.
