About Me

Dr. Yu provides outpatient care in pediatric pulmonary and sleep medicine at the Children's Health Center (200 Medical Plaza, Westwood) and Santa Monica (1260 15th Street, Suite #1024). She is board certified in pediatrics. She is board eligible in pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine. Her clinical interests pediatric sleep disorders, asthma, and quality improvement.

Dr. Yu earned her medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine – New York. She completed a traditional osteopathic rotating internship at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY. Subsequent to that, she completed a year of family medicine residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY. She completed her pediatric residency at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. She completed her pediatric pulmonary fellowship then sleep fellowship at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC. She received her bachelor's degree from Cornell University.

Dr. Yu's research interests are in pediatric sleep disorders, asthma, food insecurity, and quality improvement. Dr. Yu has written about infant wheezing and sleep disorders in both children and adults.

Dr. Yu grew up in New York City. In her free time, Dr. Yu loves spending time with her husband and her daughter. Together they enjoy exploring new cultures through food and traveling.
