The UCLA Maps Website illustrates the UCLA medical campus as an integrated part of the main university campus. The WLA VA campus also is shown to the southwest of the main UCLA campus area. Our main Neurology faculty offices are in the Reed and Semel buildings across the street from RRMC.

UCLA Medical Center is located in Westwood, on the main campus of UCLA, a low-crime upper class western Los Angeles neighborhood next to Beverly Hills, Brentwood, and Bel Air.  The campus is a short 5 miles from the Pacific Ocean, Santa Monica Pier, Third Street Promenade and the beach. The full major university campus is right outside the hospital door with its sports, libraries, and other campus activities.

U.S. News & World Report consistently ranks the UCLA Medical Center among the best US medical centers.  A large number of UCLA Neuroscience research collaborators give UCLA a reputation for excellence in the Neurosciences with a traditional strength in Neurophysiology.  The Neurology Department is large, academically very active, well endowed, and generally among top national Neurology programs in NIH grants.
