“We’re having all the Big Sibs and Little Sibs come together to make Valentine’s Day cards and eat cookies,” explains Lauren Matsuno (not pictured), a second-year student at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. The Big Sib/Little Sib program matches incoming students or Little Sibs, to second-year students, or Big Sibs. “We wanted to get all the Bigs and Littles together to foster a closer relationship between the first and second years. This gives us a reason to celebrate Valentine’s Day.”
