Great Experience at UCLA Santa Monica

I recently had partial knee replacement surgery at UCLA Santa Monica. I cannot express in words how this procedure was such a great experience. The communication from all staff members was outstanding. If you have any concerns, the staff was there to help. You are treated as if you are the most important patient in their care. The sincerity of all that I dealt was apparent at all times. The procedure was completed on time, with the surgery team making me feel completely at ease. In recovery, each doctor came to my bedside to see how i was feeling, both the anesthesiologist and surgeon. x-rays were taken to validate surgery and the best thing was I was released to go home the same day. Surgery at 7.30 AM i was able to home at 1.30 PM. totally pain free. Pain management at home has been easily done and I feel completely confident with all the procedures that were completed. I have received followup calls today from pain management, anesthesiology, the surgeon, and the followup team. I will need another knee done in future, and I will definitely be returning to UCLA Santa Monica. I have always wonder how a medical center can be rated #1. The key is to hire great people. They have!
