WHAT:
Officials from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology in Seoul, South Korea, will sign a special memorandum of understanding at UCLA, creating a partnership to promote education, training, research, technology transfers, and exchanges in teaching and scholarly activities in the areas of neuroscience and molecular imaging.
The two institutions will develop joint projects that may help advance research and treatments for neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease, stroke, and Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

Walk north on Gayley to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, located just before Charles E. Young Drive South. Use the UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital entrance, located next to the emergency room.
Oversized news vans: From Wilshire Boulevard, head north on Gayley Avenue. After passing Le Conte Avenue, and just before Charles E. Young Drive South, park at the yellow curb on the east side of northbound Gayley. Display press credentials on dashboard. There is no parking permitted north of Charles E. Young Drive South.
