Transformative Time Singing Carols

“We sang Christmas carols with dogs, and it was really transformative,” reflects Luke Apodaca, a UCLA College of Letters and Sciences student who volunteered to help the People-Animal Connection (PAC) dog teams at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. “We are a community service-based a cappella group, so we don’t compete. We, personally, find that our voices and our singing should help other people. We sang for a grieving family today, and it was really difficult. But it was very important for us to do that for them. This is why we come. This is why we enjoy giving our time. We will continue to do this event every year, as long as we’re invited.”
