Working Together

“We work together as a family unit to make Steele’s life happy and as normal as possible,” says Bernadette Schaaf, mother to 14-year-old Steele Schaaf, who has Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, a condition characterized by recurrent seizures. The thing that really impressed us about this place is the support net. They make it easy for us to come from Orange County and we see all the specialists we need in one place. Everyone works as a team, and they look at Steel’s health as a team. It’s a great environment.”
