Justine Lee, MD and Arezou Yaghoubian, MD process dental impressions, which will be used to develop a surgical treatment plan for a patient born with a cleft palate.

The faculty and residents of the UCLA Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery participate in a wide range of basic science and clinical outcomes studies intended to broaden medical science's understanding of regenerative medicine, wound healing, bone regeneration, and the safety and efficacy of reconstructive surgery.

Our surgeon scientists are working to develop new implantable devices and new reconstructive techniques, and to refine existing treatments and therapies in an effort to minimize suffering and promote long term welfare of our patients.
