BOGO PM: A free service visit to your school’s fitness center!
BOGO PM - Buy One Get One Preventive Maintenance
Did someone say Buy One Get One?! Sound Body Sound Mind is pleased to offer a free preventative maintenance visit (PM) for your school’s fitness center. The first fifty qualifying schools who complete a PM visit to their school’s fitness center between August 1st, 2023 and December 15th, 2023 will receive a complimentary PM visit in the spring semester.
Our vendor, the Dumbell Man offers SBSM schools preferred pricing for preventive maintenance visits for $185. In order to receive a free preventative maintenance visit from SBSM, follow the steps below:
- Contact the Dumbell Man directly by phone at (310) 381- 2900 or email [email protected] and mention you are a SBSM school. Please be prepared to provide a purchase order for the service.
- Once service is completed, please submit a copy of your invoice through our online portal.
Qualifying schools must complete a preventative maintenance visit and submit proof of a visit before Friday, December 15th, 2023 to receive a service visit compliments of SBSM.

Preventive maintenance involves lubricating joints, tightening bolts, checking alignment, inspecting the overall machine and identifying potential issues before they become bigger issues. Preventative maintenance does not cover repairs.
Preventive maintenance is like getting an oil change for your car. This service ensures your equipment is safe, in working condition, and vastly extends the life span of your fitness center.
The frequency of PM visits is dependent on how often the fitness center is used and general condition of the equipment. At minimum, we recommend that a fitness center receives a PM visit twice a year. The more frequently your fitness center is used, the more often it should be serviced. Please speak to the experts at the Dumbell Man to determine the best service schedule for your school.

Schools can start scheduling service appointments now. Any service visit between August 1st, 2023 and December 15th, 2023 will be considered for this program on a first come, first served basis. This offer is limited to the first 50 schools who submit proof of their visit.

Preventative maintenance service does not cover repairs. If you are concerned about needing repairs, please discuss and request a repair quote from the Dumbell Man directly when you schedule your initial visit. Sound Body Sound Mind will not be funding repairs as part of this program.
