Ajay N. Gurbani, MD

Dr. Gurbani is a fellowship trained Orthopaedic surgeon with expertise in Foot and Ankle surgery. His clinical interests include the treatment of arthritis and cartilage lesions, primary and revision total ankle arthroplasty, sports and traumatic related injuries, as well as deformity correction and reconstruction of the foot and ankle. Dr. Gurbani is an expert in both open and arthroscopic procedures.

Dr. Gurbani strives to provide excellent care to his patients, and feels as though the patient-doctor relationship should be a partnership. As a Southern California native, he understands how important returning to an active lifestyle is to members of this community.

Dr. Gurbani completed his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University. Following this, he completed medical school and Orthopaedic surgery residency at UCLA. He then completed his orthopaedic Foot and Ankle fellowship at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, training with leaders within the field, before returning back home to Los Angeles.

Currently, Dr. Gurbani sees patients in clinics both at the UCLA Orthopaedic Center in Santa Monica and in Century City.
