Albert Aboseif, DO

Dr. Albert Aboseif is an Assistant Professor and neuroimmunologist in the Department of Neurology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He holds an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California and a medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences, graduating with academic distinction. He completed his neurology residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, where he served as Chief Resident focusing on patient safety, quality of care, and physician wellness. He subsequently completed dual clinical fellowships in Multiple Sclerosis and Autoimmune Neurology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Following his clinical fellowships, he completed the Eugene and Marcia Applebaum Multiple Sclerosis Research Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic while earning a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical and Translational Science with a focus on clinical trial design.

In his clinical practice, he evaluates and manages patients with all forms of multiple sclerosis as well as autoimmune neurologic disorders including NMOSD, MOGAD, neurosarcoidosis, and autoimmune encephalitis. He has contributed to over 40 research articles and book chapters in the field of neuroimmunology, and holds particular research interests in pre-symptomatic and tumefactive forms of multiple sclerosis, immune-mediated cognitive impairment, and longitudinal outcomes in autoimmune encephalitis.
