Alexandria M. Thomas, MD, MS

Dr. Alexandria Thomas is a dedicated board-certified Family Medicine Physician at UCLA Health Encino, providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages. She treats patients with a whole-person approach, considering not only immediate symptoms but also overall health, lifestyle, and well-being. With clinical interests in preventative health, chronic condition management, women’s health, and street medicine, Dr. Thomas values collaboration and builds strong, trusting relationships with her patients, empowering them to take an active role in their health and embrace healthier lifestyles at every stage of life.

Her medical journey began in Orange County, California, where she majored in Health Science at California State University, Fullerton while excelling as a student-athlete on the women’s basketball team. This foundation led her to Los Angeles, where she attended Charles R. Drew University/David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Captivated by the diverse patient population and the unique energy of the city, Dr. Thomas chose to remain at UCLA to complete her Family Medicine residency.

Originally from Irvine, California, Dr. Thomas balances her professional life with personal passions. In her free time you can find her traveling, enjoying a good movie or book, exploring scenic hiking trails, or cherishing moments with her husband and family.
