About

Dr. Alice S. Kim is a primary care physician at UCLA Health Pasadena and a Health Sciences clinical instructor at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and welcomes patients of all ages, including the pediatric and geriatric populations. During medical school rotations, Dr. Kim was inspired by a family medicine physician who was caring for three generations and wanted to foster similar relationships and build a high level of trust with her patients, leading her to pursue a career in family medicine.

Dr. Kim attended St. George’s University for medical school and completed her family medicine residency as chief resident at Desert Regional Medical Center, a level one trauma center in Palm Springs, California. She earned her bachelor’s degree in science from the University of Southern California, then obtained her master’s degree in bioscience from The Claremont Colleges.

Dr. Kim’s previous work experience includes positions in the pharmaceutical and bioscience industries as a medical copywriter at Omnicom Health Group and a consultant for Thermo Fisher Scientific. She enjoys teaching and has led several board review courses for resident physicians and medical students.

Dr. Kim was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She is fluent in English and Korean. Hobbies and interests include golfing, skincare (particularly Korean beauty), and spending time with her family.
