About
Dr. Leung completed her undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University and graduated with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Bioethics. She earned her medical degree from University of Michigan and was a recipient of the Dean Merit Scholarship. Dr. Leung also received her master of public health degree at Johns Hopkins University and was accepted in the prestigious Sommer Scholars Program. She completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at University of North Carolina. During her residency she was inducted in the Academy of Educators for her dedication to medical student education. Dr. Leung enjoys caring for patients of all ages but she has particular interest in adolescent health, geriatric health, and discussing lifestyle modifications. She also has experience in women's health and community health interventions. Dr. Leung frequently volunteers her time teaching various health topics abroad and in urban communities.
