Andree M. Franco-Safaie, MD, MPH

Dr. Andree Franco-Safaie is a board-certified family medicine physician. She is trained in broad-spectrum family medicine and is passionate about delivering comprehensive primary care to all ages – from newborns to older adults. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, women’s health, community medicine, and immigrant health.

Dr. Franco-Safaie earned her medical degree at the PRIME-LA (Leadership & Advocacy) at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where she concurrently received a Master of Public Health (MPH) ​ in Community Health Sciences with a specialization in Health Education/Promotion from the Fielding School of Public Health at UCLA. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the Los Angeles County Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Franco-Safaie earned her undergraduate degree in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology from Harvard College.

Dr. Franco-Safaie was born in Guatemala and grew up in the Pico-Union/MacArthur Park neighborhoods of Los Angeles. Her experiences growing up as an immigrant have deeply shaped her dedication to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and linguistically appropriate care to diverse populations and improving the health of underserved communities.   

Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places to eat, and hiking.
