Ans Martinez, LMFT

Ans Martinez is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at UCLA Behavioral Health Associates. He received his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. His undergraduate Bachelor’s degree is also in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Ans has been providing outpatient treatment in community mental health settings to children, adolescents, and adults for many years. His expertise includes anxiety, ADHD, depression, parenting, substance use and addiction, trauma, and other behavioral and developmental challenges impacting children and adolescents. Ans Martinez also has extensive experience working and providing LGBTQ affirmative psychotherapy and trauma-informed care to other underrepresented communities.

Ans Martinez is trained in evidenced based practices including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
