Ashish S. Govan, MD

Dr. Ashish Govan is an internal medicine physician who provides evidence-based care for adults with a focus on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Govan believes in partnering with his patients to develop personalized treatment plans focused on maintaining health, preventing disease, and managing complex medical conditions. His clinical interests include sports medicine and the management of chronic medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, heart failure, and chronic kidney disease.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Govan enjoys traveling, working out, spending time at the beach with his puppy Kobe, and cheering on the Los Angeles Lakers.
