My diabetes Doctor had not replied regarding my cortisone shot that was given last week on Thursday from a UCLa ankle specialist which caused my sugar level to spiked over 500 Thankfully this doctor advised me to increase my medication Slowly going in the normal range It was very scary, going to the emergency room doesn’t really solve the problem unfortunately

I went to Marina Del Rey urgent care and I saw Dr B Noble and he took care of me better than my own primary doctor. He did the test I needed gave the results and order my medication and when I got to the pharmacy my prescription was ready

I was seen right away. The doctor ordered tests and offered to put in a referral for a gastroenterologist. However, I had one. My results were in my chart a few hours later.

The doctor never physically examined me even though I was complaining of abdominal pain. He never touched me. But in the after visit notes, he wrote that he did examine me. Had he examined me like a doctor I saw a few days later, he would have noted my tenderness and pain. He lied in the chart. I had to have three ucla urgent care visits to have a doctor take my concerns seriously, and at the very least examine me.

The doctor was dismissive at best. He immediately decided that I needed to see a specialist with almost no inspection or questioning, and showed no empathy or care whatsoever regarding my concern and wellbeing. He was not able to indicate whether my condition was cause for concern or not, whether he considered it was an urgent matter, and even went so far as to point out that he was "flying blind" with regard to my case. He made absolutely no effort in helping me secure an appointment with a specialist, knowing beforehand that the next available opening wouldn't be for months. I think it's important to note that the specialist I saw at a later date was appalled by the lack how little was done by the immediate care doctor, as evidenced by my after care summary.

I was hoping a doctor would check me. I'm used to doctors checking my throat, ears and nose when I'm sick. The doctor stayed away from me and gave me a diagnosis. Didn't really give me treatment either and said I could continue taking cough syrup if I felt like it helped me, but never even asked what type of cough syrup it was or what was in it.
