Throughout my 13+ years of practice and training with esteemed colleagues at UCLA Health, Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, I have been able to build a deeper understanding of the art and science of psychology. This unique blend of offering evidence-based treatments and more holistic approaches allows the therapeutic process to be organic and individualized.
I have a background in Eye-movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; in addition to UCLA Peers program training for people on the Austism spectrum.
In the work that I do with children, I use a fair amount of art and games in order to build rapport, process emotional trauma and build skills, in the language with which they are most familiar.
