Daniel C. Fu, DO

Dr. Daniel Fu is a fellowship-trained, board-certified Family Medicine and Sports Medicine physician. His clinical interests include the care of athletes and active individuals of all levels seeking to return to the activities they love. He specializes in the nonsurgical treatment of sports and activity-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, and foot. He is trained in ultrasound-guided procedures. He is dedicated to partnering with his patients to get them back to doing what they love.

Dr. Fu grew up in Foster City, California, and began his academic journey at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He then pursued a Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University in Arizona before completing his medical degree at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at Creighton University in Phoenix, where he was named Intern of the Year, served as Chief Resident, and earned the James Grobe, MD Fellowship Award from the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians. He then obtained further specialized expertise through a primary care sports medicine fellowship at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in Tulsa, where he served as team physician for Division I athletics at the University of Tulsa and Oral Roberts University, covered professional baseball with the Tulsa Drillers, and served as a physician for the Big 12 Wrestling Tournament.

Dr. Fu speaks Mandarin Chinese in addition to English. Outside of medicine, he enjoys hiking, playing viola, reading, practicing karate, and volunteering at sporting events.
