About
Dr. Danielle Graham is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine. She is a breast surgical oncologist and holds board certification in general surgery.
Dr. Graham obtained her MD and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her general surgery residency at UCLA, where she also obtained her PhD in Molecular, Cellular and Integrative Physiology. She then completed her breast surgical oncology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
She provides up-to-date, multi-disciplinary care for patients with breast cancer as well as high-risk and benign breast conditions. Dr. Graham has extensive experience with surgical techniques that maintain the breast's natural appearance, including hidden-scar techniques, local breast tissue rearrangement, and nipple-sparing mastectomies. In addition to caring for patients with breast disease, Dr. Graham treats patients with benign and malignant skin or soft tissue conditions. She is passionate about ensuring patients are well-informed about their condition and treatment options in order to make personalized and joint decisions about their care.
Dr. Graham’s research focuses on developing biomarkers to predict response to therapy for breast cancer and developing clinical tools to better tailor breast and axillary surgery. Her ultimate goal is to optimize cancer-related outcomes while minimizing patient side effects.
Dr. Graham is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeon and the Society of Surgical Oncology. She is committed to teaching the next generation of surgeons through her work with medical students, residents, and fellows.
